Kempegowda International Airport, Bangalore

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

Baru-baru ini, saya telah berlepas ke India, to be specific Bengaluru @ Bangalore on a work trip. 🛬 Yang menariknya, saya tiba di India pada awal pagi raya! 

Malam raya transit di Changi Airport and headed off to Bangalore on the very morning of first syawal! Perantauan just like that! 😅

Di entri ini, saya nak kongsikan tentang kecantikan Kempegowda International Airport, Bangalore. Sebelum berlepas pulang ke Malaysia, saya sempat spent beberapa jam di airport ini. Betul-betul eco-friendly. 

Bagi saya, airport Bangalore ni besar juga dan dihiasi dengan pokok-pokok, hiasan rattan-inspired. 

Cuma tak banyak pilihan restaurants or kiosks, so kalau lapar or ada waiting hours yang lama, agak boring tak tahu nak ke mana hehe.

Overall, securitynya ketat juga ya.

Semasa saya nak boarding, saya lupa nak keluarkan pocket wireless device dan beg saya didivert ke lane yang lain untuk pengesahan yang lebih thorough. 

"What's this maam?"

"Pocket wireless" with my goggling eyes scanning for my backpack worth my life! Passport, cash, you name it.

"5G? Where did you get this?"

"Malaysia."

"Ah!"

Checked. Fuh.

The boarding area is totally beautiful. The walkway to the gate is surprisingly outdoor. 

My flight to Singapore (my next destination), was at midnight, and there were so much rush. Easy said, KIA is a central airport, but not as huge as KLIA. Exactly like Penang Airport. 

Sebelum take off, saya sempat rest di sitting pods around the airport and purchased one fridge magnet and a trinket, white floral bracelet!

Setiap kali I wear it, I am glad I had the (well, the only) chance to take a piece of Bangalore back home!

Work trip can be pretty interesting sometimes!

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.  Sawadikha. I have been to Thailand a few times. Living in the North, it was reachable. The recent one we took a trip to Hatyai . . . for food, sponsored by my beloved dad. I love Hatyai for its food. Still teringat-teringat ayam goreng and tomyam. Short Meet-Up Bersama Rakan Baik di Pak Mat Western

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. Baru-baru ini, saya ke Pak Mat Western for a short meet up setelah hampir 1 tahun tidak berjumpa dua rakan baik saya. Kami tiba di sana hampir jam 6:30 petang setelah masing-masing pulang dari waktu bekerja. Meski pun bukan kali pertama saya menjejakkan kaki ke restoran terkenal ini, saya sangat teruja kerana ini kali pertama saya pergi bersama dengan dua orang rakan baik saya.  16 - 22 tahun persahabatan Seorang rakan saya kini sedang menghabiskan bulan-bulan terakhir housemanship di sebuah hospital di ibu negeri, manakala seorang lagi merupakan penyelidik di sebuah syarikat swasta.  Masing-masing sudah berada di tempat sendiri, tetapi saya sangat bersyukur kerana masih ada ruang dan waktu untuk berjumpa, walaupun setahun sekali. Kami saling berkenalan sejak dari tadika dan sekolah rendah lagi. Hampir 16-22 tahun lamanya persahabatan ini. Terlalu banyak memori untuk dikenang-kenangkan. Makan Tengahari with Bestie di Lagenda Cafe House

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. Somewhere in September, Aireen, my school bestfriend and I went to Lagenda House and Cafe , located just so nearby to Chew Jetty in Georgetown.  She landed from Kuala Lumpur to Penang around 12 ish so after picking up Aireen from Penang Airport, we headed straight to the cafe although it was quite a distance from the airport. Mind you, I was hungry, she was hungry. 😅 We were lucky that there was a smol space, just enough for my cute car to park in front of the cafe. The cafe was nice, air-conditioned and ada classic vibe of P. Ramlee's era.  One of my colleagues at work yang suggest to pay a visit to this place and since the Google ratings were so convincing that I thought it was a really good spot. Look at what we ordered. The condiments came with a mini-congkak plating, blending in pretty well with the whole ambience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place in a heartbeat. Price wise is slightly higher but totally acceptable for the servings ...
